[ 02 ]  Bespoke curtain & blind maker, London

£1m+ turnover

How organic search helped a high-end London curtain maker nearly triple turnover, win more luxury clients, and move to acquire a second business.

A respected maker, ready to scale

A bespoke curtain and blind designer in London, working with high-end homes and interior designers across the capital. The craft and the reputation were already there. The brief was to put the business in front of more of the affluent homeowners and design professionals searching for exactly this kind of made-to-measure work, and to turn that search demand into a fuller order book of high-value projects.

What we did

A focused SEO programme built for a high-ticket, location-led business, on three fronts that the analytics now show clearly.

Local landing pages for London’s prime neighbourhoods, from Wandsworth and West London to Chelsea, Hampstead and Notting Hill, written to match high-intent local search. These convert hardest. The neighbourhood pages turn roughly one in five visitors into an enquiry.

An editorial content library aimed at the questions luxury clients and designers actually ask, from seasonal trend reports to guides on heading styles, tracks and poles, fabrics and period homes. This brought the volume, thousands of visits at the top of the funnel, and built the authority that lifts the whole site.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile work concentrated on London, where the large majority of organic visitors come from. A deeper technical SEO audit is now underway as the next phase, tightening on-page foundations to push rankings further still.

The climb

Organic visibility grew month after month, and it held.

Google’s 28-day click counter tracked the same rise. It held around 50 clicks before the engagement, reached 60 to 80 by May 2024, 120 to 180 across that summer, 500 by August 2025, 600 by September 2025, and 700 by March 2026. That is a fourteenfold increase on the starting point.

Google Analytics confirms it independently. Organic search sessions grew from around 125 a month in 2023 to more than 900 a month in early 2026, peaking at 975 in March 2026. The growth proved durable, climbing through two full years rather than spiking and fading.

Growth that reached the bottom line

For a high-ticket maker, search visibility turns into commissioned projects. Across this period, organic search generated around 2,000 tracked enquiry actions, with the London neighbourhood pages converting at over one in five. Alongside that, the client reports annual turnover grew from roughly £350,000 to over £1,000,000, close to a threefold rise, with more of the high-end homeowners and designers the business is built for. On the strength of that growth, the owner is now acquiring a second supplier business.
