[ 02 ]  Marshall and Stewart

4× organic traffic

How content-led SEO took a heritage British bedmaker from almost no search presence to a steady, growing stream of luxury buyers.

Marshall and Stewart handbuild beds at the very top of the market, in the company of names like Hästens, Savoir and Vispring. The craftsmanship was world class. The search presence had not caught up. Through 2024 and into the middle of 2025 the site drew a flat baseline of around 90 organic sessions a month, with little movement and few rankings to show for it. The opportunity was clean: build a search presence worthy of the product.

What we did

A content-led SEO build for a high-ticket, deeply considered purchase.

We gave each bed collection a proper product page and tightened the core commercial pages, so the brand could be found and understood. We built an authority content library aimed at how luxury buyers actually research a bed that costs as much as a car, with head-to-head comparisons against the established names, a UK luxury bed price guide, and plain-English guides to mattress construction and spring counts. Those are the pages now pulling in-market researchers. Underneath it, steady on-page and technical SEO to hold it all together.

Search Console tells the launch story in milestones: 90 clicks in the 28 days to mid-November 2025, 100 by early December, 120 by mid-January 2026, then 180, 200 and 250 across the spring, still climbing.

Google Analytics confirms it. Organic sessions held flat at around 90 a month through 2024 and into mid-2025, then climbed steadily from the autumn to 371 in May 2026, close to four times the old baseline. A single comparison guide now brings around 380 visits on its own, proof the content is doing the work.
